Gruene Road Water Reclamation Facility

This state-of-the-art facility has the capacity to convey 2.5 million gallons per day. With room for future expansions, it is designated to convey 10 million Gallons per day at full build-out. This first phase included the following components: the primary headworks with screening structures, aerated grit basin, lift station that begins 70 feet below grade, odor control, aerobic digesters, aeration basins, clarifiers, sludge pumps, blower building, administration building, chemical feed buildings, storage tanks, tertiary filter structure, UV system with outfall structure, belt filter press, water quality pond with outfall structure, non-potable water pumping with bulk water public dispensing, and various sitework such as storm grading, drainage, and detention areas.
